Goal: Teach players to move beyond just “getting the ball over the netˮ by implementing strategic decision- making and intentional shot selection.
Focus Areas:

• Strategic Play: Players learn to hit specific shots with purpose, such as using drops to set up net play, dinks to control pace, or drives to apply pressure.
• Court Awareness: Recognizing opportunities for offense and defense and learning when to attack versus reset.
• Pattern Play Integration: Executing strategic patterns under game-like conditions (e.g., third-shot drop, transition zones, and stacking).
• Doubles Communication: Partner movement, shot selection coordination, and strategy to build stronger team play.

Outcome: Players graduate to Green Band with the ability to implement strategy intentionally during competitive play. They now focus on doing something specific with every shot rather than simply keeping the ball in play.
